Why this public records index exists, what it includes, and what it does not do.

Our Mission

AnimalAbuserList.com was created to make it easier to find information on individuals who have been convicted of animal cruelty or neglect in jurisdictions that publish public offender lists.

The goal is simple: help shelters, rescues, breeders, pet stores, and everyday pet owners make safer decisions and keep animals out of the hands of known abusers.

What This Site Is (and Is Not)

It aggregates public information from official government or law-enforcement sources.
It does not create new accusations or make independent determinations of guilt.
It is not a replacement for checking original official sources, which may be updated at any time.
It is a tool to assist in due diligence, not legal advice.

Data Coverage So Far

This project is just starting and currently includes data from multiple public registries and jurisdictions.

The list will expand over time as more official public registries are discovered or become available.
